Democrats are desperate to uncover evidence that candidate Donald Trump colluded with Russia in order to steal the election from his Democrat opponent, Hillary Clinton. Two years of investigations have thus far revealed corruption among the top ranks of the FBI and political biases run amok within the bureau however, nothing akin to collusion on Donald Trump’s behalf. In fact just the opposite.
The top Democrat on the Senate Intelligence Committee, Mark Warner (D-VA), was found to have been secretly communicating with a lobbyist representing a Russian oligarch. The nature of the message exchange seems to be an attempt on Senator Warner’s behalf to set up a private meeting with the author of the discredited Steele dossier, Christopher Steele.

For several months during 2017 Senator Mark Warner was exchanging text messages with Adam Waldman, a lobbyist representing the interests of Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska. Warner was desperate to see Christopher Steele and was attempting to arrange a private meeting between the two. The lobbyist, whose firm is reportedly tied to Hillary Clinton, stated that Steele would prefer a bipartisan letter from the Senate Intelligence Committee requesting he testify before the entire panel. Neither side reached an agreement.
Ex British spy Christopher Steele was scheduled for a deposition in London Monday, February 5 however, he refused to show up. Christopher Steele now refuses to be seen in public, a courtroom, or anywhere near a reporter after Senators Lindsay Graham (R-SC) and Chuck Grassley (R-IA) referred the ex-British spy to the DOJ for criminal charges. The criminal referral cites the following:
“There is substantial evidence suggesting that Mr. Steele materially misled the FBI about key aspects of his dossier efforts, one of which bears on his credibility.”
Steele is currently facing litigation in numerous courts regarding his efforts in compiling the dossier and unsubstantiated statements therein. Steele has maintained that he cannot show up for any deposition since it would “implicate state secrets in London.” However that statement does not stand up to the slightest bit of scrutiny since Steele ended his service with MI6 back in 2009, roughly 6 years before his dossier efforts. Why is Steele so desperate to avoid explaining his dossier if he was forthright when drafting it, as many have claimed?
The top Democrat on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, Adam Schiff (D-CA), showed an astonishing lack of intelligence as he fell for a prank by two Russian disk jockeys claiming to have compromising photographs of Donald Trump and recordings regarding said photos. The vacuous Democrat went so far as to have staffers follow up in order to obtain the “dirt”.
Staffers for Rep. Schiff claimed to have known that the communications were part of a prank “both before and after the call.” One can only imagine that staffers for Adam Schiff maintain some level of clairvoyance since they “knew” it was a prank even before they received the call. Adam Schiff and staffers refused to answer any questions pertaining to why they would continue the communications if they “knew” it was a prank.
What do the actions on behalf of Adam Schiff and Mark Warner mean?
Both Adam Schiff and Mark Warner are the ranking democrats on their respective committees and they have yet to reveal anything that links candidate Donald Trump to Russia. The motivation to link President Trump to Russia has driven them to make inane decisions that have resulted in further embarrassment of those whom stake the claim that Donald Trump colluded with Russia in order to steal the election from Hillary Clinton.
Democrats took the Steele dossier as gospel and have bet their bottom dollar that candidate Donald Trump colluded with Russia to steal the 2016 presidential election. The investigations taking place in Congress have largely discredited the Steele dossier and has led to Democrats acting out of sheer panic. As Christopher Steele refuses to show up to court in order to stand by his work in compiling the dossier, Democrats have begun to reach out to random Russian oligarchs as well as follow any ridiculous lead without vetting the source from which it originates. As all of these various investigations move forward and more corruption is revealed on behalf of the FBI, DOJ, and State Department, we can expect a lot more egg to end up on the faces of various Democrats that have been beating the same Russian drum for over a year.
