Though election interference has been a major issue for quite some time now, it has just recently started to hit headlines as a real issue that has some in Congress seeking solutions. As Robert Mueller and company investigate a Russian troll farm that had no ability to alter vote counts, the various “noncitizens” voting in American elections are indeed altering vote counts and denying election outcomes that are meant to reflect the will of the American people.

The state of California allows for illegal immigrants to obtain a driver’s license without showing proof of citizenship. The state will then automatically register those whom possess a California driver’s license to vote, ensuring that the state’s voting rolls are rife with illegal voters. According to Public Interest Legal Foundation (PILF), which have identified identical problems in Virginia and New Jersey, Pennsylvania is experiencing a similar issue with regard to noncitizens voting. PILF claims more than 100,000 noncitizens are registered to vote in the state of Pennsylvania which is considered one of the most important battleground states with regard to Federal elections.

PILF claims that Pennsylvania state officials have admitted that noncitizens have been registering and voting “for decades.” PILF has been attempting to gain access to the state’s data records which could definitively reveal the extent of the problem however, state officials have repeatedly rebuffed their requests. PILF has filed a lawsuit against the state of Pennsylvania in order to get them to reveal the extent to which the problem has become. The state of Pennsylvania has yet to respond to the lawsuit nor have they rejected PILF’s claims of over 100,000 noncitizens being on their voter rolls.

The term “noncitizens” applies to all foreigners that do not hold citizenship, which includes those whom entered the country on any one of the various visas offered through the American immigration system as well as illegal aliens.

PILF’s President and General Counsel, J. Christian Adams stated the following:

“For months, Pennsylvania bureaucrats have concealed facts about noncitizens registering and voting – that ends today.”

Philadelphia Commissioner Al Schmidt testified that there was a “glitch” in the state’s motor vehicle system which allowed for noncitizens whom applied for a new license the opportunity to register to vote. Schmidt claimed the glitch dated back to 1990s which indicates the problem has only metastasized over the past two and a half decades.

Although PILF has been stonewalled by state bureaucrats, they have been able to obtain records from various counties that indicate some troubling cases. In one case a man by the name of Felipe Rojas-Orta sent in a handwritten letter detailing that he was not a citizen of the United States however, he was able to register as a Democrats and vote in three elections, including the 2016 presidential election.

PILF cites another instance where a woman had her registration canceled however, she was able to re-register and then vote twice. She is still listed as “active” in the system and is also listed as a registered Democrat. In the vast majority of these cases, it appears that the Democratic Party is the primary beneficiary to these illegal votes which could explain the bureaucratic stonewall that PILF is experiencing.

PILF has published numerous reports of noncitizens being registered voters. Most recently, PILF identified more than 1,000 noncitizens registered to vote out of New Jersey as well as over 5,500 noncitizens registered out of Virginia. PILF was able to show that over a third of the illegal voters in Virginia actually cast ballots thus effectively influencing vote counts.

Analysts claim it is extremely difficult to get a handle on an accurate number of noncitizens currently registered to various rolls. The numbers PILF has been able to obtain up to this point only include noncitizens whose registration was canceled because they later admitted to not being a citizen. If a noncitizen does not report that they are indeed not a citizen of the United States, they are not stripped of their ability to vote. In many of these states that automatically register license holders to vote, if noncitizens are able to obtain a license then they are allowed to vote unless they decide to “opt out.”

The temperature of the America’s political discourse demands that voter rolls be purged of any noncitizens that have been registered up to this point, as PILF has rightfully demanded. The American people are the ones who should be deciding the direction of the United States. Foreigners should not influence nor interfere with American elections and it is ever more important that federal election laws be enforced to insure just that. Unfortunately, since the vast majority of these illegal votes tend to benefit Democrats over Republicans we cannot expect members of the mainstream media to even consider shining any light on this issue.
