Starz has renewed Shining Vale for a second season.

Shining Vale, Courteney Cox’s smash horror comedy series, has been renewed for a second season by Starz. The show began production in 2018 and premiered on Starz on March 6, 2022, to critical and fan acclaim. Pat Phelps, an erotic novelist, and her family move to the titular little town in Shining Vale. They do this for a change after Pat is caught having an affair, bringing her into contact with dark powers that may be more beneficial to her than first appears.

Shining Vale will return for a second season, with eight episodes, according to Deadline. Along with Cox, Greg Kinnear, who plays Terry, and Mira Sorvino, who plays Rosemary, are scheduled to return. Jeff Astrof, a co-creator of Shining Vale, expressed his delight at the renewal news, saying that he and his co-creator Sharon Horgan are eager to continue working on this twisted universe and its people. Sharon and I are ecstatic to be able to tell the next eight chapters of the Phelps’ journey, particularly considering the way season one concluded.
