A three-year-old girl perfectly imitates Queen Elizabeth, right down to the royal wave.

A 3-year-old child is paying tribute to Queen Elizabeth’s record-breaking 70 years on the throne by imitating the monarch.

Isla Bates of Ashton-in-Makerfield wore a monochrome hat and coat with pearls to mimic the queen’s hallmark style.

Isla travelled on the road dressed as Queen Elizabeth to attend various “royal engagements” in honour of the 96-year-old monarch’s Platinum Jubilee, which she will celebrate publicly in June.

Isla visited nearly a dozen nursing facilities run by New Care, a company for which her mother works, in Greater Manchester, Merseyside, and Nottingham.

Isla walked down a red carpet at each site, shaking hands with locals and recreating the queen’s famed royal wave.

She also planted a tree at each station to commemorate the Queen’s Green Canopy, a tree-planting effort started to commemorate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. According to the initiative’s website, people across the United Kingdom are encouraged to “plant a tree for the jubilee.”

“With a focus on planting sustainably, the QGC will encourage tree planting to establish a legacy in honour of The Queen’s leadership of the Nation,” the organisation claims on its website.

On Twitter, The Queen’s Green Canopy posted a video of Isla, calling her a “mini-queen.”

Residents of New Care gathered outdoors at each stop to see Isla dig a hole and plant a tree. Isla also joined neighbours for a traditional British tea party at several of the destinations.

“Isla has enthusiastically enjoyed her little royal tour, visiting each of the New Care homes to plant a tree,” says the spokesperson “Alex Fairhurst, Isla’s mother, stated in a statement. “She loves dressing up as The Queen, honing her royal wave, and making our residents happy.”

She went on, “Isla is honoured to be a part of the Platinum Jubilee, and by planting the tree, she is helping to improve the environment and leave a lasting legacy at each of our care homes across the UK.”

The customary Trooping the Colour birthday event for the queen will start off the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee public commemoration on June 2.

According to Buckingham Palace, other festivities scheduled for that weekend include a Thanksgiving Service, a public concert outside Buckingham Palace, and a Platinum Jubilee Pageant.

Queen Elizabeth is the first British monarch to achieve a Platinum Jubilee in history.
